  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. This role involves monitoring patient status, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and positive outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
    • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
    • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care
    • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMR systems
    • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
    • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
    • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families

    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact license as applicable)
    • Experience in a Medical-Surgical unit or similar clinical setting
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Advanced certifications related to Medical-Surgical nursing
    • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
