Job Summary

Seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and recover post-operative patients.
• Assess patient condition and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff.
• Float to Day Surgery as needed.

Required Qualifications

• ICU experience.
• PACU experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior PACU experience in a high-volume surgical setting.

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Unit Procedures

• General Surgery
• Neuro Surgery
• Oncology Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Vascular Surgery

Additional Information

• Floating: Day Surgery
• On-Call: Required; no routine weekends
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs or Hospital-Provided Scrubs
• Practice Standards: ASPAN Guidelines
