Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified RN First Assist (CRNFA) for a travel assignment to support surgical procedures and patient care. This role requires strong clinical expertise, particularly in neuro-related procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures
- Provide perioperative patient care, including preparation and post-operative support
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to surgical protocols
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate with the surgical team
- Support documentation and maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to surgical needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certified RN First Assist (CRNFA) certification
- Strong experience in RNFA role
- Experience in neuro or neurological surgical procedures
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (10-hour shifts, 06:45 AM – 05:15 PM)
- Flexibility to work variable days and participate in on-call schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in high-acuity surgical environments
