  • Job Summary
    The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. This role ensures compassionate, safe, and effective care for patients while assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a supportive environment in healthcare facilities across Vermont and New Hampshire.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
    2. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
    3. Take and record vital signs, weights, and other patient data as directed.
    4. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
    5. Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas.
    6. Support nursing staff with procedures and patient care tasks.
    7. Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification of state.
    2. High school diploma or equivalent.
    3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
    5. Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and personal care needs.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a hospital, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    3. Training in dementia care or specialized patient populations.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current LNA certification in Vermont or New Hampshire required.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
