JOB SUMMARY
The CT Tech performs diagnostic imaging procedures that require the use of a CT scanner to produce images of the body for the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
• Operates CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Positions patients and equipment to obtain the best image quality.
• Administers contrast media as required by protocol.
• Reviews images for quality control and ensures proper patient identification.
• Maintains patient care and safety during the procedure.
• Documents procedures and patient information accurately.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Schedule / Shift
• This is a Full Time position.
• Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Requires every other weekend.

Required Qualifications
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• RT (T) certification
• ASRT membership
• FASRT credential

Experience
• Strong preference for candidates with CT Tech experience.

Skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in medical and anatomical knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude for operating equipment.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and patients.

• Meditech

Patient Population
• Adult and geriatric patients.

Unit / Specialty
• Radiology - Computed Tomography (CT)

Floating / On-Call
• May be required to float to other related areas.
• On-call duties may be required.
