Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced Emergency Room (ER) setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals experiencing urgent and emergency medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid and accurate assessment of patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing interventions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Assist with triage and patient prioritization during high-volume periods.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or acute care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or other relevant specialty certifications.
- Experience with trauma care and advanced emergency procedures.
