JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography (CT) to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Key Responsibilities - Perform CT scans according to physician's orders and established protocols. - Position patients appropriately for CT scans. - Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions. - Ensure image quality and accuracy. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. - Operate and maintain CT equipment. - Prepare and maintain patient records.
Schedule / Shift - 13 weeks - Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - No call required
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience - Experience performing CT scans.
Skills - Proficient in CT protocols and imaging techniques. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. - Skill in patient positioning and immobilization. - Ability to operate CT scanner and related equipment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy.
