JOB SUMMARY Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for an Orthopedic Clinic. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations as ordered by physicians and other licensed practitioners, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities - Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols. - Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. - Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently. - Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and patient protection measures. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for procedures. - Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Schedule / Shift - Days
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Valid State of Colorado Radiologic Technologist license.
Certifications - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Experience - Experience in an orthopedic clinic setting is preferred.
Skills - Proficient in diagnostic radiography techniques. - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Excellent patient care and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EMR / Systems - Experience with common EMR systems is desirable.
