  • JOB SUMMARY
    Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in an acute/inpatient rehabilitation setting. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients in an acute/inpatient setting.
    - Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to address patient deficits and functional goals.
    - Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional mobility training.
    - Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
    - Document all patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
    - Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
    - Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies to improve functional independence.
    - Participate in team conferences and patient care rounds.
    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.

    Required Qualifications
    - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree.
    - State licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
    - Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
    - Demonstrated experience in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation setting.

    Experience
    - Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on acute care or inpatient rehabilitation.
