  • Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a strong background in laboratory operations and proficiency with Epic EMR to ensure accurate and timely patient results.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform specimen collection, processing, and phlebotomy duties.
    2. Conduct testing on blood, urine, body fluid, and other clinical specimens.
    3. Analyze quality control data to ensure testing accuracy and compliance.
    4. Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and resolve technical issues.
    5. Review test results, maintain laboratory records, and support quality assurance initiatives.
    6. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate patient results.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience.
    2. Active MT/MLS/CLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
    3. Active state license where applicable.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Laboratory generalist experience in a hospital setting.
    2. 2–3 years of recent experience in laboratory operations.

    Certifications
    1. Active MT/MLS/CLS (ASCP) certification (required).

    Preferred Experience
    1. Proficiency with Epic EMR (required).
    2. Experience with Abbott Alinity, ACL Tops 350, GeneXpert, Beckman Coulter, TORCH, and Clinitek analyzers (preferred).

    Note - Travel Experience Required
