plaintext JOB SUMMARY A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatment to patients under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA executes established treatment plans and educates patients and their families on therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities • Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patients and identifying limitations. • Implement established treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training. • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist. • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and functional activities. • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Qualifications • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certifications • Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience • General experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Skills • Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. • Excellent documentation skills.
