Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
 - Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including cardiac telemetry monitoring.
 - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
 - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
 - Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
 - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
 - Ensure a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and their families.
 
Required Qualification
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
 - Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
 - Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
 - Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
 - Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.
 - Experience: 2 years
 - Requirements: COVID vaccination
 - License/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
 - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
 - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience in acute care or telemetry monitoring is a plus.
 - Strong communication and organizational skills.
