Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, monitor their progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. This position requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate and monitor patient progress and condition.
2. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical status.
3. Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and their family members.
4. Administer treatments and monitor medication dosages.
5. Respond to medical emergencies and escalate to appropriate medical staff when necessary.
6. Deliver comprehensive care during recovery in the ICU unit.
7. Ensure accurate and timely documentation and paperwork prior to patient transfers.
8. Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records.
9. Develop and implement personalized care plans.
Required Qualifications
1. Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
2. Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
3. COVID-19 vaccination required
4. Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
Certifications
1. Active RN License
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
