Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    Provide diagnostic MRI imaging services to patients.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform MRI scans according to physician's orders and established protocols.
    - Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
    - Operate MRI equipment and related accessories.
    - Prepare patients for MRI scans, including screening for contraindications.
    - Administer contrast media as required and according to protocol.
    - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
    - Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
    - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

    Schedule / Shift
    - Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

    Weekend / Call Requirements
    - On-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks, covering Monday through Sunday.

    Required Qualifications
    - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    - Current BLS certification.

    Certifications
    - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.

    Experience
    - Experience performing MRI procedures.

    Skills
    - Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and protocols.
    - Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines.
    - Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
