  • JOB SUMMARY
    Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. Physical therapists can teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

    Key Responsibilities
    Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
    Implement therapeutic interventions to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
    Educate patients on managing their conditions and adopting healthy lifestyles.
    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

    Schedule / Shift
    Days, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    Required Qualifications
    Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
    Current Texas state licensure.

    Certifications
    BLS (AHA or ARC)

    Experience
    1 year of Inpatient Rehab experience.
    2 years of Physical Therapist (PT) experience.

    Skills
    Ability to examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
    Proficiency in implementing a variety of physical therapy techniques.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to educate patients effectively.

    Meditech (Preferred)
