  • Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
    2. Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures.
    3. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
    4. Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
    5. Maintain sterile techniques and enforce infection control protocols.
    6. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
    7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    8. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and postoperative care.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative or Operating Room nursing.
    3. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.
    4. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
    5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience in a hospital surgical unit or ambulatory surgery center.
    3. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
    3. CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification (preferred).
