  • Job Summary  
    The Registered Nurse – Women’s Health (OB/GYN) provides direct patient care in an ambulatory obstetrics and gynecology setting. This role involves supporting annual gynecological exams, assisting with office procedures, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women across all stages of life.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide nursing care in an ambulatory OB/GYN office setting.
    2. Assist with annual gynecological exams, including Pap smears.
    3. Support physicians during procedures such as colposcopies, LEEPs, endometrial biopsies, and other minor office-based interventions.
    4. Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.
    5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
    6. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
    7. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
    8. Provide compassionate care and effective communication with patients and families.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    2. Current RN license in State.
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    4. Strong knowledge of OB/GYN office operations and procedures.
    5. Excellent communication and patient education skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience in ambulatory OB/GYN or women’s health settings.
    3. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
    2. Specialty certification in Women’s Health Nursing – preferred.
