plaintext JOB SUMMARY Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, as prescribed by a physician.
Key Responsibilities - Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. - Position patients and equipment accurately to obtain desired views. - Administer contrast agents as directed. - Monitor patient safety and comfort during scans. - Maintain patient records and documentation. - Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
Schedule / Shift - 3x12 hour shifts - Includes Saturdays
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry for Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience - Minimum experience as required by ARRT for certification in MRI - Experience with routine MRI procedures
Skills - Proficient in operating MRI equipment - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Ability to follow instructions and protocols - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail
Unit / Specialty MRI
Patient Population General adult and adolescent patient population.
Floating / On-Call - May be required to float to different MRI suites if applicable.
