JOB SUMMARY Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to adult patients in an outpatient setting. Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and biomechanical assessments. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals. - Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and functional training. - Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. - Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards. - Adapt treatment strategies based on patient response and progress.
Schedule / Shift Flexible scheduling to accommodate outpatient clinic hours.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. - Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Alaska. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic or physical therapy setting is preferred.
Skills - Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. - Proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression. - Expertise in manual therapy techniques. - Excellent patient education and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
