plaintext JOB SUMMARY Provide occupational therapy services to patients to help them regain functional independence and improve their quality of life. This role will be part of a Level II Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and limitations. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. - Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications. - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. - Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Schedule / Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Required Qualifications - Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida. - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Experience - Occupational Therapy experience.
Skills - Assesses, plans, and implements patient therapy plans. - Utilizes therapeutic techniques and exercises for rehabilitation. - Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient Population - Adults and geriatric patients.
Unit / Specialty - Occupational Therapy
Floating / On-Call - Flexibility to work across different therapy settings as needed.
