  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform routine laboratory tests, analyze specimens, and provide accurate results to support physicians and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens for laboratory testing.
    2. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
    3. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
    4. Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    5. Adhere to quality control procedures and participate in proficiency testing.
    6. Maintain proper documentation in laboratory information systems.
    7. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient care.
    8. Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
    2. Current certification or eligibility as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
    3. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
    4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    6. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
    2. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) and laboratory information systems (LIS).

    Certifications (if any)
    1. ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification preferred.
    2. Other relevant laboratory certifications are a plus.
