  • JOB SUMMARY
    The Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) provides immediate and specialized nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and critical health conditions. This role requires quick decision-making, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to stabilize and treat patients.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver direct patient care in emergency situations, including triage, assessment, and stabilization.
    • Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
    • Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status.
    • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
    • Educate patients and families on care procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
    • Operate and monitor medical equipment used in emergency care.
    • Participate in ongoing training and emergency preparedness drills.

    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices and acute care protocols.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Physical stamina to manage demanding emergency care situations.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    • Prior experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent preferred.
