Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week contract assignment in a dynamic Medical Float Pool setting. The RN will be expected to provide high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and other telemetry services across various units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and initiate appropriate interventions when necessary.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in compliance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Accurately document patient care activities and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Float between different units within the facility based on staffing needs and RN's competencies.
- Provide compassionate and responsive care while maintaining patient safety and dignity.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, procedures, and post-discharge care.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 years of recent experience in Telemetry nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- Previous experience floating between units preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details:
Specific shift schedules to be discussed during the interview process. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays may be required.
