Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a high-volume, fast-paced birthing unit. Candidates must be comfortable managing high-acuity patients, circulating in deliveries, performing sterile vaginal exams, and providing immediate newborn care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Circulate for deliveries and C-sections
• Perform sterile vaginal exams
• Provide immediate newborn care
• Care for high-risk OB patients and assist with obstetrical triage
• Float to high-risk maternity units as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience (3+ years preferred)
• Experience in facilities with 300+ births per month required
• Experience with circulating, sterile vaginal exams, and newborn care
• Comfortable with frequent double labor assignments
• First-time travelers accepted with strong high-volume L&D experience

Certifications

• BLS
• AWHONN Intermediate
• NRP

Assignment Details

• 20+ Week Contract (through February 27, 2027)
• 12-Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
• No Call
• Float Required
• Every Other Weekend Required
• 20 Rooms | Approximately 20 Births per Day
