JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical support for cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the surgical team in the operating room during cardiovascular procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide instruments and supplies as requested.
Operate and maintain specialized cardiovascular equipment.
Ensure a sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure.
Assist with patient positioning and draping.
Manage specimens and assist with hemostasis.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during surgery.
Participate in surgical timeouts and pre-operative briefings.
Adhere to all sterile technique and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a recognized operating room technician program or equivalent experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
