    JOB SUMMARY
    Experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist needed to operate radiation therapy equipment and administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients undergoing cancer treatment, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
    - Accurately position patients for treatment according to treatment plans.
    - Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    - Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions.
    - Maintain detailed patient records and treatment logs.
    - Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions.
    - Adhere to radiation safety procedures and protocols.
    - Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals.

    Schedule / Shift
    - Full-time position requiring flexibility to cover various shifts, including potential weekends and holidays, as needed by patient care demands.

    Required Qualifications
    - Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
    - Current BLS certification.

    Experience
    - Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.

    Certifications
    - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiation Therapy.
    - BLS certification.

    Skills
    - Proficient in operating linear accelerators and associated treatment planning systems.
    - Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety principles.
    - Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
    - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    EMR / Systems
    - Experience with standard oncology EMR/documentation systems is beneficial.

    Unit / Specialty
