JOB SUMMARY The Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities • Perform basic radiographic procedures. • Conduct fluoroscopy procedures. • Execute portable radiographic procedures. • Operate C-arm equipment for imaging. • Provide OR imaging services. • Perform routine diagnostic procedures. • Ensure timely delivery of diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients. • Adhere to departmental protocols and the direction of the Radiologist.
Schedule / Shift • Four 10-hour shifts per week. • Monday through Thursday. • Shift hours: 0600-1630.
On Call • Provide on-call coverage from 0800-1700 one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every 4-5 weeks.
Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology. • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). • Maintain a state license as a general radiographer.
Certifications • ARRT • BLS
Experience • Experience performing basic radiographic procedures. • Experience with fluoroscopy. • Experience with portable radiography. • Experience with C-arm procedures. • Experience with OR imaging services.
Skills • Proficient in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures. • Ability to operate specialized imaging equipment (e.g., C-arm, fluoroscopy). • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
