  • JOB SUMMARY
    Seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our Special Procedures team. This role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
    - Operate specialized IR equipment, including the Philips IR Table.
    - Assist physicians during various IR procedures such as Y90, Prostate Embolism, Tunneled Catheter placement, Thoracentesis, and Paracentesis.
    - Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
    - Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control protocols.
    - Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
    - Complete accurate and timely documentation of procedures in the EMR system.
    - Clean and maintain IR equipment and the procedure room.

    Schedule / Shift
    - Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

    Required Qualifications
    - BLS certification
    - ARRT certification
    - ACLS certification

    Experience
    - NEURO EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

    Skills
    - Proficiency in operating the Philips IR Table.
    - Ability to perform and assist with Y90, Prostate Embolism, Tunneled Catheter, Thoracentesis, and Paracentesis procedures.
    - Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols.
    - Excellent patient care and communication skills.
    - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    - Ability to function independently.

    Floating / On-Call
