JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CT Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and providing excellent patient care.
Unit / Specialty Imaging
Key Responsibilities - Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. - Ensure accurate patient identification and proper positioning for optimal image acquisition. - Administer contrast media safely and effectively when required, following established guidelines. - Operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including procedure documentation and imaging reports. - Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure. - Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical personnel. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked.
Schedule / Shift Rotating Weekends Required
Required Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech. - Experience with contrast administration.
Skills - Proficient in CT scan operation and image acquisition. - Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Excellent venipuncture skills. - Ability to administer IV contrast safely. - Knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Patient Population - Adult - Geriatric
Floating / On-Call - Will float to like units as needed. - On-call duties may be required per manager discretion.
Additional Information - Orientation period is 0 hours (non-billable). - First-timers to the role are accepted. - Locals are accepted. - RTO must be included at time of submission. - Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.
