JOB SUMMARY
The Radiologic Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Samaritan Health Services is responsible for performing imaging procedures in Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology using state-of-the-art technology. This role supports healthcare teams by providing accurate diagnostic imaging to facilitate timely and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology settings.
- Operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and medical personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology.
- Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting.
Certifications
- ARRT RT(R).
- Oregon Radiologic Technologist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association.
