    JOB SUMMARY
    Provides direct patient care and administrative support within the Hope Women Cancer Centers.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Assists physicians and nurses with patient examinations and treatments.
    - Performs vital signs, collects patient history, and documents information in the electronic health record.
    - Administers medications and injections as directed.
    - Prepares examination rooms and sterilizes equipment.
    - Schedules patient appointments and manages patient flow.
    - Performs phlebotomy and processing of specimens.
    - Educates patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.

    Schedule / Shift
    Monday/Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Required Qualifications
    - High School Diploma or GED.
    - Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.

    Experience
    - Experience in a physician office setting is beneficial.
    - Experience in oncology is preferred.

    Certifications
    - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

    Skills
    - Proficient in taking vital signs and patient assessment.
    - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    - Familiarity with electronic health records.

    EMR / Systems
    - Experience with EMR systems is required.

    Patient Population
    - Adult patients undergoing cancer treatment.
