  • Job Summary
    The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, movement dysfunctions, or functional limitations. 
    This role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, improving functional independence, and preventing disability through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. 
    The Physical Therapist collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
    • Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training
    • Monitor patient progress, reassess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed
    • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
    • Supervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants and other clinical staff as applicable
    • Ensure patient safety, proper body mechanics, and adherence to infection control practices
    • Comply with ethical standards, state practice acts, and healthcare regulations

    Required Qualifications
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    • Current Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state
    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles
    • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across diverse age groups and conditions
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
    • Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic health record systems

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation settings
    • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, or post-surgical conditions

    Certifications
    • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (if required by facility or state regulations)
