JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in an emergency care setting. The role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities
*Provide direct patient care in an emergency room setting.
*Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
*Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
*Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
*Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
*Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
*Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Qualifications
*1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
*Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
*Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).

Certifications
*Basic Life Support (BLS).
*Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
*Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
*ENPC within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
*Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
*CEN preferred.
*TNCC preferred.
*Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred.
*NIH Stroke Scale Certificate.
