JOB SUMMARY Provides direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities • Perform resident assessments, treatments, and medication administration. • Notify physician/nurse practitioner of pertinent resident information. • Assist with resident admissions and discharges. • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL). • Perform specialized care, including Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy Care. • Perform other assigned nursing duties.
Schedule / Shift • 8-hour shifts. • Varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Candidate must be flexible regarding shift assignments.
Required Qualifications • Current LPN license in the state of practice. • Proof of flu vaccination required prior to contract start date.
Certifications • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be required).
Experience • Experience in a long-term care setting. • Experience with Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy Care.
Skills • Proficiency in performing patient assessments. • Skilled in medication administration. • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers, residents, and families. • Competent in providing ADL assistance.
