    JOB SUMMARY
    Seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment. The CT Technologist will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating pathological conditions.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform CT scans according to physician's orders and established protocols.
    - Operate CT scanners and associated equipment, ensuring proper patient positioning and image acquisition.
    - Prepare contrast media and administer it to patients as required, following safety guidelines.
    - Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions.
    - Ensure the quality and accuracy of CT images.
    - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
    - Document patient information, procedures, and findings in the EMR system.
    - Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions.
    - Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
    - Educate patients and their families about the CT scan procedure.

    Schedule / Shift
    - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Dayshift)
    - Weekend and holiday rotation is expected.

    Required Qualifications
    - Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience.
    - Active KS licensure.

    Certifications
    - ARRT (R)
    - BLS

    Experience
    - Proven experience in performing CT scans in an acute care setting.
    - Experience with CT Head Stroke protocols.
    - Experience with CTA chest, neck, and abdomen.
    - Experience with CTA Cardiac studies, including those related to a Structural Heart program.

    Skills
    - Proficient in operating CT scanners.
    - Skilled in patient positioning and image acquisition techniques.
    - Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
    - Ability to administer contrast media safely.
    - Strong understanding of radiation safety principles.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    - Dependable and prompt.
    - Works well with other departments.

    - FUJI Synapse

    Patient Population
    - Adult and potentially pediatric patients requiring CT imaging.

    Unit / Specialty
    - CT Tech / Radiology
    - Main Entrance facility, 1st Floor.

    Floating / On-Call
    - May be required to float within the Radiology department as needed.
    - On-call responsibilities may apply.
