  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology to provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, coordinating care plans, and supporting patients and families throughout their cancer treatment journey. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
    2. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, treatment responses, and progress.
    3. Administer medications, chemotherapy, infusions, and other prescribed treatments as authorized and within scope of practice.
    4. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and implement appropriate interventions when necessary.
    5. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate patient care plans.
    6. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
    7. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
    8. Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
    9. Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families throughout treatment.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
    2. Minimum of 2 years of Oncology Nursing experience preferred or as required by the facility.
    3. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
    4. Experience working with oncology patients and treatment protocols.
    5. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
    6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Previous experience administering chemotherapy and infusion therapies.
    2. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
    3. ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) training or oncology-focused experience preferred.
    4. BSN preferred.

    Certifications
    1. Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    3. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
    4. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.

    Note- Travel Experience Required
