  • JOB SUMMARY
    The Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery with the goal of restoring function and promoting independence. This role involves close collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient recovery through individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess patient conditions and develop personalized rehabilitation care plans.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate therapy and discharge planning.
    • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, exercises, and home care strategies.
    • Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
    • Promote mobility, self-care, and functional independence through nursing support.
    • Respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate clinical interventions.
    • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standard, and infection control protocols.
    Required Qualifications
    • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    • Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or long-term care settings.
    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Rehabilitation Nursing Certification (CRRN) is a plus.

    Note: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
