plaintext JOB SUMMARY Seeking a skilled and adaptable MRI Technologist to join our Radiology department on a travel assignment. The successful candidate will operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of the human body, adhering to established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities - Perform MRI procedures for various body regions, with a focus on spine work and brain imaging. - Conduct procedures related to breast biopsies. - Operate GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment. - Ensure accurate and high-quality image acquisition. - Maintain patient safety by following scanning protocols and safety guidelines. - Document patient care and procedures accurately in Meditech. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Respond to on-call duties as required.
Required Qualifications - Florida state license as an MRI Technologist. - ARRT certification. - BLS certification.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience. - Experience with GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment is preferred. - Prior travel experience is a plus.
Skills - Proficiency in performing MRI scans of the spine and brain. - Experience with breast biopsy procedures. - Ability to adapt quickly to new facility protocols and a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
