Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to patients and residents by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is vital in promoting dignity, independence, and quality care within healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Support mobility by helping patients move, transfer, and ambulate safely
- Maintain patient comfort by changing linens, cleaning rooms, and ensuring a hygienic environment
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Skills: Compassionate care, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Experience working with geriatric or rehabilitation patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Certifications (if any)
