  • Job Summary
    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to patients and residents by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is vital in promoting dignity, independence, and quality care within healthcare facilities.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
    2. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
    3. Support mobility by helping patients move, transfer, and ambulate safely
    4. Maintain patient comfort by changing linens, cleaning rooms, and ensuring a hygienic environment
    5. Report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
    6. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents
    7. Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety

    Required Qualifications
    1. Education: High School Diploma or GED
    2. Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
    3. Skills: Compassionate care, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Experience working with geriatric or rehabilitation patients
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

    Certifications (if any)
    • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in applicable state
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
