  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead and oversee multi-site operations across key functional areas, including sterile processing, transportation, and facilities. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning regional operations with organizational strategy. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, experience managing large-scale operations, and the ability to drive performance and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide leadership oversight across regional operational functions, including sterile processing, transportation, and facilities
    • Lead and develop site-level leaders, including directors, managers, and coordinators
    • Establish regional priorities, performance goals, and operational standards
    • Align site operations with organizational strategy and growth initiatives
    • Drive operational integration across departments to ensure seamless execution
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards across all sites
    • Oversee audit readiness, inspection outcomes, and compliance activities
    • Standardize workflows, documentation, and processes across facilities
    • Monitor operational performance and proactively address risks
    • Mentor and coach leadership teams while building succession pipelines
    • Drive performance management and accountability frameworks
    • Support hiring strategies and onboarding for key leadership roles
    • Own regional performance metrics including quality, turnaround time, and service reliability
    • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
    • Identify and scale best practices across sites and functions
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and outcomes
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet service expectations
    • Represent the region in executive-level discussions and strategic planning

    Required Qualifications
    • 10+ years of operational experience, including at least 5+ years in multi-site leadership roles
    • Demonstrated experience leading operations across multiple functions such as sterile processing, logistics, or facilities
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards within healthcare and transportation environments
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
    • Experience managing operations in high-growth or multi-site environments
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Certification in sterile processing (CRCST or equivalent)
