JOB SUMMARY Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit, adhering to established nursing standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities - Assess patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments. - Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the physician. - Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Schedule / Shift - Variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical/surgical setting.
Skills - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Proficient in patient care documentation.
