  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in promoting safe and effective medication use while supporting overall patient health.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosage instructions.
    2. Provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
    3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
    4. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions.
    5. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
    6. Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
    7. Monitor patient health outcomes and recommend adjustments to therapy when appropriate.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
    • Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
    • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Ability to train and mentor pharmacy staff.

    Certifications (if any)
    • Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other specialty certifications preferred.
