Job Summary
Seeking an
experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support a diverse surgical
services department. The RN will provide perioperative care across multiple
specialties, including Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN,
Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology. This
is a high-acuity unit requiring strong multi-specialty OR experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative
nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Circulate a variety of surgical cases
across multiple service lines.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia
providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety, sterility, and
regulatory compliance throughout surgical procedures.
- Float within the facility and outpatient
areas as needed and within scope of practice.
- Participate in weekend and call
rotations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN
experience.
- Minimum 4 years of Operating Room
experience prior to travel assignments.
- Recent experience in Neurology,
Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures.
- Previous travel experience required;
first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Ability to work across multiple surgical
specialties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume tertiary or
academic medical center.
- Experience with additional specialties
including Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology.
Certifications
- Active RN License.
- BLS (per facility requirements).

- Weekend Requirement: Variable;

- Floating: Within facility/scope of
practice and to Outpatient areas as needed
- Locals Accepted: Yes, same rate
- Maximum RTO: 7 days
Additional Information
- Candidates must carefully review all
unit and job details before submission.
- Clinical screening required prior to
manager review.
- Full compliance is required before start
date; non-compliance may result in a 2-week start date delay due to
orientation scheduling.
- No Holiday RTO will be approved.
- Blackout Dates: November 23-29 and
December 21-January 3.
- Non-Billable Orientation Hours are
determined by contract length.
