  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a hospital setting while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care to individuals with medical and surgical needs.
    2. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
    3. Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including IV infusions and blood products.
    4. Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
    5. Educate patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
    6. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
    7. Delegate tasks to support staff and supervise their performance.
    8. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
    9. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    2. Current RN License issued by the state or valid multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    4. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and procedures.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a Board-approved program.
    2. Prior experience in acute care or hospital-based medical-surgical nursing.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
