JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Tech to join a dynamic surgical team. This role is critical to the success of cardiac and vascular procedures, requiring proficiency in scrubbing all open-heart cases.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile operating field.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and hand instruments and supplies.
• Maintain proficiency in scrubbing all open-heart cases.
• Follow all sterile technique protocols to prevent infection.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Manage and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.

Schedule / Shift
• On-call: Required 1x/week with a 1 weekend per 6-week schedule.
• Weekends: Required as part of the on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
• Proven ability to scrub all open-heart cases.

Preferred Qualifications
• Robotic experience preferred.

Experience
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting is essential.

Skills
• Expertise in sterile technique.
• Proficiency in surgical instrument recognition and usage.
• Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Adult and potentially Pediatric patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgery.

Unit / Specialty
• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Floating / On-Call
• Floating between units is not expected.
• On-call is required as per the specified schedule.
