JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit to provide direct patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care.

Schedule / Shift
NIGHTS 7P-7A (12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications
- Permanent address must be located 50+ miles from the facility.

Certifications
- BLS
- NIHSS
- ACLS (Facility will accept submissions pending ACLS, provided it is obtained prior to start date)

Experience
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting.

Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with Cerner preferred.
