JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Transport Nurse Specialist (TNS) to provide critical care during inter-hospital transport for both pediatric and adult patients. This role requires strong ICU/ER expertise, advanced critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently in high-acuity situations.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver critical care assessment, stabilization, and treatment during patient transport.
• Manage ventilators, emergency medications, and critically ill patients in transit.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership, clinical expertise, and effective communication in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Active and unrestricted DC RN License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of recent ICU, ER, or Critical Care Transport experience.
• Experience in high-volume tertiary care or trauma settings preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in air or land critical care transport in the DC area.
• Advanced certifications such as CEN, CCRN, CTRN, or CFRN.
