Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes for patients recovering from surgery or managing acute medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery processes, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Prior experience in a hospital medical-surgical unit.
- Advanced training in patient education and care coordination.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
