  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in rehabilitation care to provide comprehensive patient support and recovery services. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering treatments, collaborating with healthcare specialists, and guiding patients and families through post-hospital care. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and compassionate communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Review patients’ medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
    2. Track routine vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.
    3. Monitor, interpret, and record data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
    4. Administer medications and perform treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.
    5. Maintain and update ward charts, patient files, and medical records.
    6. Instruct Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans.
    7. Collaborate with healthcare specialists and report changes or deteriorating conditions.
    8. Explain test results and procedures to patients and families, answering questions clearly.
    9. Advise patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medications, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in State license required).
    2. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in rehabilitation or related clinical settings.
    3. Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA) certification.
    4. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation nursing practices and patient safety standards.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Experience in telemetry or specialized rehabilitation units.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    3. Advanced certifications in rehabilitation nursing – preferred.

    Certifications
    1. BLS – AHA (required).
    2. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – preferred if applicable.
