  • Position Summary
    The Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care is accountable for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patient conditions, making clinical decisions, and ensuring the delivery of safe, competent, and individualized nursing care. This role is essential in coordinating with the healthcare team to evaluate and improve care for patients across various acuity levels.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Maintain accurate and detailed patient reports and medical records
    2. Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions or side effects
    3. Record and assess patients' medical information, vital signs, and clinical changes
    4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
    5. Adjust treatment plans in response to patient condition changes
    6. Triage and accurately screen acute care patients

    Required Qualifications
    Education:
    1. Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
    2. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

    License:
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License 

    Experience:
    1. 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience (New graduates welcome)

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    1. Strong foundation in practical nursing principles
    2. Knowledge of medical terminology and acute care protocols
    3. Familiarity with age-specific patient care standards
    4. Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
    5. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
    7. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation
